Excellentia Pilot Training - Night Rating

Night Rating

Fly Excellentia

The Night Rating course teaches pilots how to safely operate an aircraft after sunset and in low-light conditions. It covers key topics such as night flying techniques, navigation using visual and instrument references, spatial disorientation, and night-specific human factors. Students also receive instruction in night circuit procedures, including take-offs, landings, and emergency handling. The course includes both dual and solo night flying, with a minimum number of flight hours required. Earning a Night Rating expands a pilot’s privileges, allowing them to fly at night under visual flight rules (VFR).
