Our Fleet
At Excellentia Airline Academy we have an exceptional fleet of training aircraft, including the brand new Sling NGT, soon to be registered in India, and the perfect plane to launch your flight career. Our full fleet currently totals nearly 30 aircraft, growing to 100 in the next 18 months, and includes the Sling NGT, Cessna 172, Piper Archer and Seneca 111, and Diamond DA20-C1 and DA42 Twinstar, ensuring a wide variety of training environments.
The Sling NGT
The wide cockpit, excellent all-around view, and best-in-class handling and manoeuvrability, makes the Sling NGT (New Generation Trainer) a truly first class training aircraft. Spacious, comfortable and equipped with cutting edge technology, the Sling NGT is crafted from aviation-grade aluminium and extraordinary lengths have been taken to engineer an aircraft that is safe, reliable, durable, and of course, fun to fly.
Sling NGT avionics come with fully integrated EFIS and autopilot, radio and transponder, with 2020-compliant ADS-B available and live weather and traffic alerts. ​The powerplant is a 100 hp Rotax 912 iS engine, the best power-to-weight ratio engine in its class, equipped with a 3-blade DUC FLASH propeller.
Cessna 172
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is the most popular single-engine aircraft ever built and an excellent training aircraft for student pilots.
Piper Archer & Seneca 111
Excellentia Airline Academy also operates the Piper Archer and Piper Seneca III, two aircraft globally recognised for their reliability, comfort, and consistent flight characteristics. The Piper Archer is a popular single-engine trainer, ideal for foundational flight training due to its responsive handling and forgiving nature. The twin-engine Piper Seneca III offers advanced training in multi-engine operations, providing students with valuable experience in complex aircraft systems.
Diamond DA20-C1 & DA42 Twinstar
We also offer training in the Diamond DA20-C1 and DA42 Twin Star - aircraft known for their modern design, fuel efficiency, and excellent handling. The DA20-C1 is a sleek, responsive single-engine trainer, perfect for initial flight training. The DA42 Twin Star is a high-performance twin-engine aircraft, ideal for multi-engine and instrument training. Both aircraft provide a safe, modern, and professional training platform for aspiring pilots.
